It’s easy to get in your head and assume when told “no” that you are a failure. Or, if not a failure, then maybe you assume whatever you’re doing is not meant for you. Most of us hope for reassurance or confirmation letting us know we get it and we’re on the right track. What people often forget is that though success appears to have happened over night, it took many no’s to get there.
The point of this blog is to share that a “no”, with the negative connotation aside, can be the ultimate pathway to success. There is always a lesson to be learned when messing up or when "failure" happens. You now know exactly what not to do. It's an opportunity to learn and grow which we all need to be a better version of ourselves both in our work life and personal.
Most people, especially while at work, live in a “yes” world. They do everything in their power to get a yes and avoid that dreadful no. Well sometimes, no means you’re actually heading closer to the right direction. Even though it may not feel that way at first. The trick is to not give up! Live, learn and find the positive in each no. If you do so, you are destined for success.
